Annex 31
Mexican regulations state that VAT Certified companies are obligated to prove to the Mexican Customs Authorities, that the goods temporarily imported were thereafter exported.
Thereby, IMMEX Companies shall submit monthly Annex 31 reports containing the export status of the goods that were temporarily imported.

USMCA Origin Verification
Mexican Customs Authorities are very actively practicing USMCA origin verification procedures to US companies who exported goods to Mexico. US companies must respond to such audits to avoid duty contingencies for their Mexican clients that imported into Mexico applying USMCA duty benefits to the goods sold.
